I just got a 2006 Banshee rear shock on ebay. Do you think this will fit on a 85 T3 I know a raptor will fit but not sure about the Banshee. If it doesn't, I can put it on my warrior or resell it.

Yeah It will fit but you will have to remove the airbox and find a very short clamp on filter.

thats a new one to me. never heard of people using the banshee rear shock. 300ex shocks bolt right up with drilling out the pivot hole so the bolt fits. i know raptor shocks work, the 01 i believe being the one to go with seeing is how the ressie is a remote ressie, need to change out the line with the longer t3 one though i think. the piggy back one works, but i have heard yuo have to put it on upside down with the piggyback ressie to the bottom, but its nto good for the shock. not sure how much of that is true, try it and see what the result is, cant hurt.

It should work since the rappy shock will fit. If you have it go ahead and fit it up. mounting the shock upside down to make it fit will not hurt the resi/shock.

I am pretty sure that the banshee shock is significantly shorter than the raptor shock. correct me if i am wrong

Got Banshee shock on today. It fit great. If you mount it with the res up it must face forward and there is not much room for a air cleaner. If you mount the shock upside down with the res tword the rear it fits perfect. The Banshee shock looks shorter but not by even an inch. The bike is to tall anyway. Ill have pics later.

Quick question. How much room do you have between the swingarm bolt and the swingarm (where the shock goes)? I don't have a stock swingarm and was wondering if this would work. I only have 6" of clearance. Thanks

Looks nice, but will the stock airbox still clear everything? You may have slightly less wheel travel due to shorter piston travel of shock, but the ride height can still be adjusted to your liking due to your adjustable dogbone. I always wondered about the fixed rezzy causing clearance problems. Please keep us informed.

There seems to be plenty of room around the swingarm but I think the airbox is out of the question. It seems it ride nice but I have not jumped it yet. Still trying to work out all the bugs. I cannot compair it to the stock one because I never rode it stock. It didn't run when I got it.
