ATC250R Wiring Harness Options TRX???

I'm looking to replace my kinda hacked up wiring harness on my 85 R,.. I was told by a dealer that a TRX 250R harness would work but may need some mods,, He wasn't exact about what need to be changed...

Has anyone used the TRX harness on the ATC,, if so,,, what mods are needed???

the biggest thing is that your 85 cdi has a different plug/connector than the 86-89 trx/atc

You would need to pick up an 86 + cdi or just get an 85 harness.

You might be able to splice your old 85 connector onto your new wire harness.
