85 tri-z stator output

Looking for the stator output on an 85 tri-z? I want to get a set of PIAA lights and go for the baha headlight look on my tri-z rebuild.

The manual I have doesn't say what amp charge the system is but it does say the lighting voltage is 8.5 v(dc) or more at 1,500 r/min and 16 or less at 8,000 r/min.
also says the regulator is a short circuit type and the no load regulated voltage is 13.5-14.1 V

Probably not what your looking for, I think you need to know the # of the amps the stator will put out.

i'm not sure but back in "88" i put an Automotive Electric Water Temp Gage on my first TRI-Z and when i REV'd it up it would work ... the output on the "ATC-ATV's" are ALMOST 12 Volt.... i had it hooked to the headlight wireing
