those pegs look a lil wide for a 2-wheel machine...lol... Has anyone ridden one of these beasts? How do they handle? I would like to build a T3 based missle, but I would hate to waste my time if it ended up un-ridable....

Im gonna have to go get the one out at the old shop and do a ride report and some pics and vids on the MX track.. This one the jack shaft was removed and the swing arm was alterd with a diffrent rim set up..The jackshaft bearing,,, so I have heard,, go bad too often. A way better setup than what came with the missle kit.

Please do... I have been curious about these things for a while now... pics would be great...vids would be even cooler yet...

So isnt the tire width limited by the chain? If I built one it would have a jack-shaft.. Mostly so I could run an atv paddle tire... I have seen photos of the missile engineering jack-shaft set-up and I also was not impressed... please get some photos...

i had a fatcat last year and it was fun as hell but that thing looks evil as hell. I used to think not much scared me . heck I used to have a 2 stroke cr500 bored with a 550kit

hmmmmmmmm, guess I just miss the point on these. Why not just buy a CR250 and save a good R ? .....of course I have never seen one of these ( in person ) much less riden one, so maybe I"m missing out.

because back in 86-87 when the ban came down ...everyone got got scared..luckly these true survivers were saved by the missle and the astro kits...more bikies met the crusher when the ban came down..then being a part of history And the end of a Era..88-89 trikes were still plenty but quickly faded out..:wondering :TrikesOwn

Nah! This one started life as a 250R trike!

Dirtwheels did a test on one that had a CR500 motor fitted and a fat paddle mounted in the rear. woot! that'd be fun. haha

Looks well built. I have a converted Yamaha Tri-Z , not sure if the swing arm's a well designed home made set up, or a realy abused aftermarket part ( it's well built but looking rough ) . It works well though and is fun to ride . Does any one know about these ?? I'd like the rear fender to go with the kit ??

god those things are awsome. I'd like to put a big bore kit and all the other goodies on one of those with a fat ass sand paddle and do some sand drag racing.

It should not be that hard to fab up the parts from a couple swingers and other bike parts. Most of us have more than enough steel stock etc lying around in used parts.

Those look killer.

The guy still sells the missile kits brand new. I think the price is around $700-800 but it includes everything. Run a search his number was posted on here a couple times.
