well the crank bearings are shot so it may be a few days before i fix it or put in on ebay. the good news is that the new clutch included a hinson clutch basket. the guy told me it cost him $1000 for a new clutch and kicker gears. that seems high but it is all new parts!!!!! i hate the thought of splitting that case. i guess i am just lazy :(
BTW for the one fool that that knows him, Paul on I-55 put it in. that guy is a con!!

your a dirty slut and you need to stop finding all these trikes for good deals...
truthfully though if i wasnt such a bum i got a good hookup on 250r trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro
How is the bottom end on it? Even if it needs some parts it looks like you got a pretty good deal.

well the crank bearings are bad so it needs a complete rebuild. thats not hard but it is time consuming. i can do a complete rebuild in about 5 hours and i have the parts to do it (bearings, seals, gaskets). i am just too lazy :D

I know where your at basket. My 250r was bought with a more or less junked bottom end, i put it together and ran it for 2 seasons and now its setting in the garage waiting for new bearings after i did the topend. It still runs first kick, just the mains are fairly bad.

i got off my lazy ass and installed a new set of bearing, seals, and gaskets so i guess i will be riding it for the time being.
