Man, I was just playing with that same engine yesterday!

I'm not near my manual but something on the flywheel points to a T and it's on a compression stroke with the cam at 12:00 etc.... Yes I'm useless, sorry need my book!!! Ya gotta know ho to do the tensioner also.

Man those chains are tough and self adjusting tensioner, I wonder if they ever break unless they run out of oil!!

Line up the T mark on the flywheel with the mark on the cover.
Then from the same side of the trike line up the cam gear with the two center punch marks parrallel to the head.
Then bolt up your cam to it.
The crank turns twice to the cams once so it doesn`t matter about cam position as long as the sprocket lines up.
After everything is tight, recheck to see if everything lines up again befor you put everything else back together.

Your cam chain tensioner should have about 3/8"inch tension on it if your chain is in good shape. If you can replace the tensioner without useing the small internal adjuster your chain needs replacing as it has no tension on it.

Nothing to it after the first time.
