A 250R motor will bolt right in without any mods!

he said cheap though! every brothers mother thinks a running stc or trx motor is worth 1500 by itself, whatever you decide it will have to be a short motor as those chass's dont have much room for taller motors, If your a small guy you could put a 125 liquid in there off a cr or something similar those bikes seem to sell real cheap everywhere in good running condition, and there are big bore kits avail for them so you could possibly make a newer 200R!!

I ended up getting it. he just wanted to get it out of the yard. tossed in a spare swingarm, durablue axle, ITP rims, stock gold rims and tires, extra tires, and a set of front tires and rims (gold) from a quad. Now to find a motor. Turns out all the electrics are there. the rear master is gone. the front master, res, and hose is missing. Jim

Was this a deal on craigslist? Did you get it for a good price?

Heck, you could part some of those extras out, probably cover a good amount of your cost.

Good score! since you got it cheap enough, you should give it the honor of a 250r motor, im sure you could make a decent trail bike for under $750, atleast thats the route i personally would take.

I ended up posting a want ad locally, Im going to try to swap some car parts. I sold a roller like this a couple years ago to a guy, he had access to a wrecked 250R with a 310 kit in it. I saw him 6 months ago, he bought a chevy II bell housing off of me, so I know he checks craigslist. Im hoping he might have access to another parts trike. I think Im going to try and find a 250R motor. Theres a guy in surprise arizona whos got a bunch of parts on ebay, including a complete motor. Jim
