View Full Version : where to get air cooled plastics and such

I need the fins from the bottom of the gas tank, the head light assembly (all plastic parts. I cant find a listing on Clarke tanks for a plastic tank for my 83 R so I am going to assume that they dont carry one for me. I can live with having that painted by one of the board members, cant recall who he is, but someone on here does paint on cars and also does it for good prices for trike parts.

I want these parts in black, Im doing an all black 83R. Powder coated frame black, black tank, and Id like a black set of plastics which I know maier offers for the front and rear fenders. I just need the head light section and the fins from the gas tank. I realize you can paint them , I just want something hardcore that wont fade/chip/peel/scratch.


Anyone can help me here Id like it alot! I need my big bore 83 R to be dressed in black so as to instill fear in those that defy me!

alright im gonna have you paint some stuff up for me, but i gotta know, where the hell did you find the head light plastic? And is that a clarke tank and maire tank fins? Whats been painted on that R??

I was thinking of havin you do my tank for me, but its dented and beat to hell. Not really sure if I want it on my bike when Im done with the restore



big green machine: does the 85R fender fit? they look alot more agressive, Id like to use an 85 more than the 83 if possible

wait I think I just answered my own question, thats an 85 front fender on sikolincolns bike isnt it?! damn im slow

and a 85 headlight shroud! much cleaner than the ol' air fooler getup, also the tank I repaired and painted myself its a stock metal tank, had the typical knee dents and a few more dents as well, and painted the shrouds as well. everythign else on my trike is original
