ES and SX motor compatability?

Looks identical except the paint. I'm told the flywheel or lighting coil may be different?

Someone said gearing but both have 1-4 and super low? I thought the gears were the same even in the rear end??

I have swapped them before. How ever I can't remember if I had to change the stator or not. I didn't notice a difference in gearing, but there might have been.
