Heres an easy cure for the sagging problem MOST E and ES suffer from. Its an unmodified rear fender brace with a rubber grommet pushed through on end. I had to add a washer since the grommet was smaller than the hole. They were actually some wrong parts I ordered from BikeBandit, so I got lucky there. I dont have any before pics but they sagged a good 1/2 inch or more. Now they sit parallel with the rack.

That's a good mod. I'm building an 84 Big Red right now. I'll keep this in mind as I assemble it. Chris

I dont know about yours, but on my Big Red, the fenders bolt to the bottom of the rack, and thats what supports them. Good idea for holding up the fenders, though!

The fenders still sag despite the original brace which is partly shown in the pic. Theres a good 5 inches of unsupported plastic there behind the original brace location. I guess after 20 something years of sitting in one place, anything will succomb to gravity.
