What Cool Head?

I just got a 310 kit put in my barrel of my 86R and now want a coolhead for it.
Question is what size coolhead do I need for this, is it the standard 250r size or is there a head made to fit straight on the 310. Also what cc should it be 19, 20, 21 or 22.

you have to get the cool head for the stock jug but you can use any dome. im currently running the 19cc dome but you must run race gas in it.

I think the done has to be cut for it to run correctly by a shop, a friend of mine bought a banshee for cheap, it ran like ass but was rebuilt with less than an hr on it, long story short it had the biggest pistons you could run in the stock sleeves and the pistons were actually hitting the edges of the dome in the head. So 30 bux to have the heads cut and a set of pistons later it now screams. I say bring it to a machine-engine shop and let them do whatever needs to be done.

So if I ran a 22 cc dome I shouldn't have to run race fuel? Yes/No?

Shouldnt have to, but id still get the dome fitted to your piston. Ive never had to deal with any of this, maybe there are others here that have a similar set-up that you are looking to do, they would know more.

i have the same setup but with a 19cc dome!!! did nobody read? anyways you can run regular pump gas with 22cc dome and as far as dome re-cutting BS mine runs perfect.
