But first, I know everyone will ask for pics, they will be here tomorrow (too dark right now).
Anyway, I picked up an '84 250r yesterday. I traded it for a lawn tractor and trailer, mini bike, some other misc. 3 wheeler parts, and a go kart frame. :Bounce
Now to the good stuff... The top end of the motor was rebuilt about 40 hours ago with .25 over piston, also new clutch plates and cable, throttle cable, carb re-built, new air filter and reeds. Gosh I can't even think of what else.... The bike is very clean too. All I really need to do before I can take it out is check all the nuts and bolts and make sure they're tight, and I should probably check the jetting too. He claims that there is about $1200 in work and parts on it. I can't wait to take it out on some trails. Never actually riden an air cooler R before, Is there much difference between this one and an '85 R?
