85' atc250r stolen from hillsborough, NJ

Hi, my 85' atc 250r was stolen this morning. rear plastics are cut, holeshot rear tires, fmf pipe/silencer, esr kicker and esr billet shifter too. heavy duty swinger skid plate, no headlight, wave rear rotor, stock axle, oversized gas tank.
please if anyone could help me find this, or knows where one that matches this discription is, they are urged to contact the hillsborough NJ police department or contact me at 908 359 3757 my names Cole , please help me find my bike.

i took that seat off cause the stitching kept holding too much dirt in, it had a stock 85 seat on it when it got stolen

check Ebay and Craigslist...and you could try the local buy/sell/trade things ...ive seen that alot

There is nothing i hate more than hearing about someones bike getting stolen, i really hope you find it, or atleast who did it. It sucks we live among scumbags and have to deal with this kind of b.s. Do you have any current pics of the bike? Try running an ad in your local newspaper with a reward to encourage anyone who knows anything to cough up some info.

still no look, i was looking from 9 in the morning yesterday till 10:30 at night, driving around town to town peeking in peoples yards and garages well driving by, asking just about everyone i know including strangers, contacted the police, contacted the local honda dealer and told them to keep a eye out for anyone asking for 85-86 parts and to let me know immediately if someones trying to get them so i can talk to them... sad thing is, for all i know my bike is being molested right now.. it could be taken completely apart. :(

It probably isn't very far away either, my truck got stolen one time out of my driveway and they found it 1 year later less than a mile from my house...striped......I'd be looking in the hood if i were you

Could be someone you even know dude. They find out what you have then come along an steal it. Happen to friend of mine his bike was stolen ended up being his best friend who stole it. Should check out all the people who know that know you have a bike ? Just a idea. Sorry to here about this man really ticks me off to here about this. Hopefully you will find it an beat the living shiot out of the person or persons who stole it!

That's a good strategy actually. Post something like "need a atc 250r motor urgently! will buy entire trike if i have to but i just need a motor." and see what happens.

was the trike locked up or just sitting in the back yard? that's why i wash my trikes at the car wash not in front of my house so people in my hood don't know what i own

ESPECIALLY around here with "Cycle thieves everywhere" Don't wash your bike in plain view.

no leads yet. i asked everyone i know, i peeked in every persons yard/driveway/open garage in every town within a 10 mile radius, the bike was taken from the back of my house when i was sleeping i couldnt lock it up, i had my ex-gf's quad in my shed and no room for mine, so i left mine out that night, i asked the cops numerous times if they had any leads they dont seem like they really want to help. so im asking everyone i possibly can. it sucks bad. i dotn know what to do, i dont have my 200x anymore either, so i have nothing to ride. this is really shitty. any help you guys could give me to help me find this guy is really appreciated. thanks for all of your help so far. i hope we find out who did this. even if we find out who it is, after its too late, as long as i find out who did it ill get peice of mind.

Anyway,gather up some friends and head to all the local ride areas this weekend and a few weeks to come.It is bound to show up there.Keep looking,My bro had his 300/350x stolen,and put up stolen signs with a pic at all the drive-thrus/gas stations,etc and some one called him with a tip and he found it.All spray painted black,,,but he found it.

Hit all the ride spots,free or not,even if it is a park you have to pay to get into.Take some friends so you can whoop some butt when you catch em.No questions asked.Chances are whoever is on it,will be the one who took it.Also be suspicious of people who normally talked to you,but now no longer do.
