Ok, I guess the last post I had wasnt very easy to answer. So I'll make it a little more simple.
I have a shot at getting a 1983 YTM 175. It runs excellent, rides great, plastics are all good, everything works. It has 2 problems: One is that the recoil needs a part and the seat is ripped.
Is this worth $200?

I am not a big fan of those bikes. If it is as described, I say its worth it.
The recoil can be rebuilt by you for the cost of a couple cheap parts, and the Moshes can recover your seat for a very decent price.
For less then a few hundred you can have a good running ridable trike.
So yes, if you like it, get it!

I'd definitlely grab it, fix the recoil, forget about the seat for a while, & keep it!! I've wanted one of those ever since i saw a 125 in person(Rassagmc's)-Plus, the 175 has front suspension;)

I'd hop all over that bad boy without hesitation. I'm not the biggest fan of the TM's, but for 2 clams? Dude, ANYTHING that runs is worth a couple clams. It doesn't matter if you want to keep it or if it's for resale - GO GET IT - especially if it's close! Let us know! Is it the one that didn't sell on eGay? New tires, cracked seat, pull start screwed up?

well, I went and looked at it... And I said no. They wernt very truthful about it. That thing was VERY beat. The automatic clutch was all messed up. You had to be moving for it to be in gear. The seat didnt have a rip in it...it was completely ripped appart, the shifter is messed up, and the list keeps going.....
SO I just said the heck with it and left it alone
