If you don't run a twist throttle you need atv grips.

Well since I run nothing but twist throttles on my sport trikes, I have to use the MX grips. I usually just run the scott as they are cheap price but work great.

If you get a twist throttle make shure its a honda one. The 1/4 turn is much nicer. If anyone wants to trade a thumb for a twist i might be intrested. I have acouple twists laying around.

i'll stick with thumb throttle for now i think, i did not like thumb throttles thought when i had an atv back in 94 but since its my 1st trike ill go the safer way 1st, i ride bikes alot and like twist throttles better

1/4th turn twist throttles scare the hell out of me! I had bad experiences with one and now use a half turn!

rally4x4, check this throttle out:https://shop.g2ergo.com/displayProductDocument.hg?productId=121&categoryId=19
I haven't run it, but have used other stuff from these guys and really like them, check the domino grips too, good stuff. Chris

I like BMX grips with the big ring when I run a thumb throttle. If you run ATV grips most of them don't have the big stopper on the inside and the knuckle of your thumb rubs on the throttle itself. It hurts after a day of tough trail riding.

If you end up going with twist grips, I've got a cool set I'm looking to get rid of! I bought these, and didn't realize they were for twist. I would sell these for $10 plus shipping, if you're interested. PM me if you want them!

I can speak for the grips GoodKarma has, I run them on my Tecate. They're called "Death Grip" a laugh riot, and they work well too. $10 is a good buy on those, too bad I don't need a set right now.

I second this, I can't even ride my friend's KX250F because he has the half turn and I have the 1/4th turn. So much nicer. I put one on my 250r too while I had it.

Hey, does anyone know of any twist grips that don't turn slicker than hell when wet? I went mudbogging yesterday on my Big Bear, and the Factory 909 grips I have on it turned to SNOT as soon as some mud got on my hands...
