Yesterday my Dad and I went to a coworkers of his place and picked up this 86 350x. It has been sitting for a few years but is in really good condition for free. He said he was sitting on top of Sand Dam and some guy on a quad came flying over and hit his trike. Surprisingly the tank doesn't leak and he rode it back to camp. That was the last time it was riden because he got his buggy finished.
Didn't have time to mess with it yesterday but today I cleaned the carb, changed the oil, some fresh gas and it started right up! It needs more the lights don't work, the rear break needs some work. What can I do about that pipe? I’m thinking sand blast it then plaint it with some high temperature paint?
