so after TF and all the remarks about the KLT being "ugly" "ragged" or my favorite " A POS!" ive decided to redo it. well as of right now Ronnie (Aka "Hey Ron Racing"
or "yamahondaman") is getting a box of parts to beadblast and clean up. and is making me some one off parts for it. (thx again!!) its gonna be getting a Jardine Stalker exhaust, some old school D.I.D. rims i have. and a custom fitted set of fenders. heres some pics of what it looks like (from TF)

its a Duro desert tire...it was like 50 or 60 bux lol...im gonna get something more agressive tho. any suggestions on tires? ( for TF like terrain.)

Sand with 400 800 1200 and maybe a higher grit after that. Get it so its nice and smooth. Then use Plastic Renew.

no doubt!! lol go with what mike ha said but instead f that plastic renew get a small cheep buffer and some buffing compound and buff the plastic back to a shine

On the plus side, it would appear most of the damge is cosmetic. But those are the hardest parts to get.

ok new question. should i try and fix the flywheel one magnet has a broken piece but it still ran and had no problems....also how can i flush the gunk out of the motor ..it has like metal shavings where i had to drill out a few screws

i'd treat it like a new piston job. Drain the oil, fill it back up, run it a little then change the oil and oil filter.

Which 250r are you talking about? Im sure the people you were with at TrikeFest would have seen the trike that you bought there. The trike that has been speculated about has been the 82R, the one that youve had for a while and had the flattrack thread on. By no means am I suggesting you dont have an 82R, I just think a few guys on here would like to see some pics of it.

If you are the one painting, just take your time for prepwork and paint. Dont get too excited and rush what your doing, and trust me its not easy to do sometimes when your pumped about getting something done. :beer :beer

I would have even done it cheaper if it wasn't all primered , but blasting takes time. It stands up to abuse pretty good. I have samples I carry around with me to let people scratch them, so people can see how it sands up to abuse. It can look any way you want it to...flat, gloss, textured, etc. etc.
