hose that goes for the cylinder to the fuel pump. on a tri

i have been having problems with the hose that goes from my fuel pump to my cylinder, im assuming itts the impluse line, or whatever, what is the stock linemade out of, i have tried a couple things so far, they get hot and leak a little, then the bike starts acting like its out of gas. i am just curious to know what everyone else has used, i am gonna try gas line tommo. any input would be great

I use the blue poly line from Dennis Kirk. I haven't had any probs.

Its actually a vacuum line which operates the fuel pump. Mine had a crack several years ago that you couldnt see, and it had me baffled as it would interemittently die. I replaced it with gas line, and its been working trouble free for several years.
