It looks like either the JC Penny trike or the Mud Bug. They both had similar looks and pretty funny at that.

Actually if that thing had a 250R motor or a 350X motor, it would make a pretty cool dragger.

Even with a 5 hp Brigs that thing has GOT to get up to some good speeds!

Holy *Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited* brapp. I have a picture of my uncle and me riding one of those things in 1975 or 76. This is the first time I've seen one since. I have no idea what it was but it looks pretty damn cool. I smell a restore project!!!!!!!!!!!

Do a search online, they make nitro drag parts for that engine. It's the NHRA Jr. Drags, they use those engines and really hop them up.

Make a drag trike out of it and put people on the floor.

That is a Tricart ( 99% sure of it ). In August 1970 they sold for $750 ( list price ). They were originally powered with a 1 cylinder, 2 cycle Rockwell JLO 230 engine. It is clamed to have speeds of over 45 mph. The three wheeler is 59in long, 32 in high, 52.5 in wide. Wheelbase measures 40 in in length.

Wow, 45 mph on that little thing sound like suicide. I'd extend the rear of it and put a psycho-huge engine in there...

Josh, I think an air fooler with an outframe pipe might fit nicely in there :naughty:
