I went completely insane spending money on this baby. I think it paid off though. Any opinions on it?

It was a 7 month restoration. I have been in love with the TRI-Z since I first laid eyes on it in 1985 as a 13 year old boy. It only took me 21 years to get one. lol But I never forgot about it.

I'm sure your aware of it but just incase.. Be sure to put a hose clamp on that hose down by your impeller cover. I had a hose blow off and scald my leg (not very fun btw)
You did a very VERY nice job on that Z. It's nice to see another one brought back to life!

Holy ----!!!! Very nice job. I was 12 when I saw my first Tecate in Dirt Wheels. A red one. Like you said, you never forget. Isn't that a beer ad? Any way Shawn, you need to open up a resto. shop so lazy people like myself dont have to sweat the details. That thing is perfect.

Thanks cris200x. Yeah, that was before it was complete. You have an eye for detail!!!!!!!
It is a very nice machine.Kinda the same boat as me.I rode a Z back in 94 and fell in love with it.Took me 15 years to get one.The seven months paid off! Fantastic job
Would you send me a email pic of it and I will post it on my website???
My website is
www.cosmicquads.com
You can email me a pic from there and I like to update the rides section with nice trikes from time time.

Nice job! Addictive isn't it? By the way, where did you get the braided brake lines and the axle lock nut? That thing is so nice I'd be afraid to ride it and scratch it up.

Awesome job! You really took the time on that Z and it shows, even down to the little details, fastners, hoeses, etc. It looks like you either cleaned a lot of the older parts or just bought new ones. Really nice work there bub!

Shawn, very nice job! It looks like you just rolled it right off the showroom floor & into your pictures, except for the DG pipe and that "flaming" rear shock cover. Have fun on it!

Different bike.
If you are selling thats a shame!!!!! You dont sell an investment like that unless its life and death; as you know you wont get close to what you have in it back.

Yes phew. i thought he was selling it for a second! Then i noticed the few differences like pipe, front end plastics, and such. So i deleted the post, i jumped the gun

No, that's not my bike on Ebay. I don't restore bikes to sell, I restore them to have and hold until death due us part. : )
