Man what a process! I got my trail bikes intake only to find out that 1 side was 5mm to small, and on top of that the carb wouldn't bolt up because it hit the fins on the cylinder. Well after a good hour of the dremel I got it to work. I got the carb up to about 22mm from the 20mm on 1 side, I'll get the other 2mm later. I had to use the carb insolator to raise the height of the intake the 8mm that I needed. I wont get into too many details now cause I've got a good buzz. After 2 hours of getting the intake to fit, I jumped on my new exhaust. Whoever said I could bolt it up, heat it up with propane, and bend it to fit is insane. I'll have to take it to a custom exhaust shop. I also cut the kick starter down so it would fit. I'll get some wheel spacers next, because with this power, trust me it'll need them. I was a little disappointed that there was no exhaust clamp to hold the 2 pieces together. Anyway after putting it together and messing with the carb I fired it up. Holy $*&@, this thing sounds like my 400ex. Nasty! I already test drove it with out the intake and exhaust and it was fast. I cant wait to get this exhaust fixed. Here are some pics.

Do NOT buy this piece of crap air filter from Dr. ATV. It does nothing but suck in crap. In the couple weeks I had it, I couldn't figure out why I kept fouling plugs on a 4 stroke. Well look what the carb looked like after I took off this cheap ass filter.

i guess my exhaust is for a perimeter style frame, whatever that means. it would probably be cheaper to buy that generic $50 one off of ebay and chaulk this up as a loss. this exhaust sounds MEAN though and I like the look, I dunno, I'll price it out.

That thing looks wild. You'll be needing lots of new chains, lots of new tires, and lots of butt-padding!

Also, that D-section pipe looks like such a weird "headpipe bend". I would try to remove the canister and maybe weld up your own header...
