350x vs. z/kfx400

i told my friends that a 350x could keep up with a z400/kfx400 and they laughed saying no way, i also wanted to know how a 350x would do vs. a 400ex. what do you guys think?

does it matter what he had done he saw the back of a "antique" (my friends call my x that)

i had a simmlar inciodent today
my friend and i were takin my x to his house to ride and on the way we saw these 2 guys cleaning there quads (a Z400 and KXF 400) so we stoped and was checkint hem out and i asked if they wanted to race and they lafed and said sure so i took out my 350 and lined them up and we where going to go 2 poles (telephone) my friend says go and i drop my clutch praticaly sit on my tank and my tires just spin i didnt go anywhere they killed me so we come back this time i sit back far get ready he says go and my front weel comes up and insistantly i go back hittin my grab bar number 2 lost we go a 3rd time considering it hasnt realy been a race and this time i had a perfect run my front wheel was off the ground the whole time and i beat the kawi by about 1 bike and the z400 by 2 we raced 2 more times and i had a demanding victory everytime 2 bad i dont have any pics of that one

my particular 400ex i know will smoke the ass off a 350x, i can beat modded raptors with it, and keep up with slightly modded ds650's, on a track, they would eat my dust. but mine isnt stock, it is a mean machine, it also depends on who's riding it, i never denie's the 350x's potential, i have seen verry impressive 350x's, and some custon 250x chassis' with 350x motors in them, that is a mean combination.

also, do you have any info on those 2 machines in the pictures, cause even a slightly diffrent jet size could make 4 inches of diffrence like the margin the 350x has on the 400.

How much horsepower is a 400ex.I have diven one it's peppy expecally with the stock short tire's.I never got to race before he put in a 440 kit though.It all come's down to sprocket ratio and tire size and don't forget the 3 wheeler has one less tire to drag.It doesn't matter to me there both honda's king of reilability.You know what's funny is I have a 1984 250r and it has the same 27hp as a 350x.stockThey both did about 65mph.My yamaha blaster is a dog top's out at 55mph.I let my friend drive yamadog and I was driving my 1994cr125 and I can beat the yama in 2gear.I took both my cr's to the racecar track 1/4 straight and my 94 cr125 did 70 in 4th and my 90cr250 did 76mph in 3rd just going into 4th at the line.Both had knobby tire's and I had to go slow in take off.Track was slick.I figure cr125 tops 90mph and cr250 100mph.I know I vered off the topic but I got cared away.

Stock 400EX has about 28 HP give or take a couple for the conditions.

i have never made a straight line drag race comaparison between the two,, there is no way to pick a clear every race winner between these two , unless you add a 250r,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

d win easily.The shoutout in 1985 states 250r atc 39hp and top speed 76mph,tecate 70mph ,tri-z 66mph ,quadracer 67mph,The better race would be a 1981-84 250r,1985-87 tri-z,1985-87 quadracer,a 400ex and 350x,There all even in my eye's.

uh ya?...thats my 350 and its all stock with the exception of a k&n filter and i remember the quad having a mod pipe..at the time of the race i didnt care what he had.... :) :) :) :)

that is a very close finish , if you string line his front tires i would say there is less than a foot difference,,,,,,
