I need to replace the handlebars on my tri z and was wondering what some of you guys are running.

I had some moose hi bends on there (cheapos at around $16) but quickly learned they weren't too comfortable.

I have no idea what those bar charts mean in the dennis kirk catalog (4, 4.8mm thingies??) but I don't want to have to buy the adapter clamps for the bigger bars either..

So any help you guys can provide will be appreciated. Any pics or links will be most helpful!

Chris, I have nothing to compare to, but I went with the Tusk CR mid-bend, and they fit up nice. They seem comfortable, but again, I don't have much experience with anything else. Everything fit up good, and they were fairly cheap. They can be purchased through ROckyMOuntain.

So whats it take to get Pro Tapers on a trike anyhow? Are they the same diameter bar? They're a good quality expensive bar from what I hear. Those 40$ aluminum bars only last one crash. And if you don't crash, you aren't riding hard enough :D .......

Moose makes an adpater that bolts a 1 1/8th bar clamp onto stock 7/8th mounts so you can run oversize bars.

the adaptors are around $25 and you can get used 1 1/8 fat bars on the bay for around $30.

i got all that stuff for "REX" off ebay
