I've personally always used the regualr antifreeze... the green stuff has always worked fine for our bikes.

I use the orange stuff since thats what i use in my trucks, never had a problem and i dont think there ever will be. Im not sure what the difference is between the two, never really thought about it.

The green is ethelyne glycol based, and the orange is propylene glycol based.I cant tell you what that means:lol:
But do not mix the 2 togethere. They have different gravity rates.Meaning one type is heavier than the other.
The orange stuff is junk.It cuases big problems in cars.It tends to cuase more corrosion especially if the system runs low and mixes with air.

You also want to use distilled water, not tap water. Tap water is full of contaminants like lime, etc. These minerals will eventually separate from the water and start to accumulate inside your cooling system and eventually inhibit flow. Distlled water does not contain these minerals.

I've used it, but not for any long periods of time. I run Engine Ice in everything of mine now, great stuff.

I use "40 Below" at the recommendation of some board members to try to keep my motor cool. It really runs hot.

the orange stuff is dex cool..for cars with alum. blocks and heads..it junk and will only last a year at the most! then it turns into a dark brown sludge/slime,,,and clog's stuff..its ok for temporary but switch out with the green with distilled water.. engine ice and 40 below are both great stuff
