Okay I pulled the brake drum cover off that r I bought and it had the ugliest brake rotar/drum ive ever seen. But what im confused about is did the extended r swingers come with a bolt on housing because this one has one.

The 81 250R drum cover is held on by the axle nuts. The brake housing sits in the swingarm and has a stud that sticks through a bracket on the swinger to keep it from spinning. There is also a third bearing in the brake housing. Here's a pic of how the setup looks with my Westcoast.

There is NOTHING that bolts on for the 81 R rear brakes stock or aftermarket!
