84 Tecate Flywheel and Stator

My tecate lost spark last weekend and I think it is the stator, I pulled the flywheel and the magnets look good and was wondering if a ricky stator will work with the stock flywheel, also where can I get a coil at in case it went bad too. Thanks Joel

Get ahold of Ricky and he can let you know . I'm not sure if it will work or not but they would know. Lopes

you can get replacement coils alone thru ricky stator i believe. alls you need to do is wire them up and you'd be good.so you can still use your stock stator, it just has new coils on it. i think they run like 40 bucks as opposed to 125 for a whole new stator. just a little bit of more work. but money well saved.
