would be nice!!!! thought i had a line on a company that did, their website advertised them, for both the 84-85 and the 86-87 model, for like 180 bucks, but when i inquired about them and wanted to buy one, they said they were discontiued!!!! so, if you ever find some one that does let me know, i'll be wanting one, billet is nice!!!!

Expensive to do, you'll find the company needing to do a production run to make it worthwhile.

An extended swingarm with a honda carrier would be way cooler.

I asked them about it and they said they would have to make 10 or more. Same as DuraBlue. If you got a few grand you would be a god to us Tecate Owners. Im sure they would sell.:beer Any Tecate owners have some money to make this happen?
Would be greatly appreciated:welcome:

it would be nice but that would cost a pretty penny to do

i just want to do a upgrade of the crack ridden carriers

almost all the ones i see are either cracked or welded up

If I had fabricating skills I would make a swingarm. Maybe use a Banshee or Blaster carrier. Banshees/ Blasters have similar style carrier and carrier mounting set ups.

Like here: http://www.members.tripod.com/groep004/Swingarm.htm

I emailed the Yamaha swingarm maker and ebay seller 2manysprees here in MI about a Tecate but no response. They have great feedback and good prices.

Not try to hijack the thread just trying to find a solution to the carrier problem and maybe another.

I'm not going for it cause I could spend my money on having someone make me a swingarm. Besides these carrier orders have been tried before.

I'd sure pay up for an extended Tecate swinger. sixpckrt, if you're game you could make some extra dough.

The Tecate swingarms are almost the same for the 84-85 and 86-87 except the shock mounting tabs location and extra carrier bolt and adjuster bolt on the 86-87.
