Stick it on a shelf..... Block the openings and put some oil in the spark plug hole or through the valve cover openings if it makes ya feel better.

I just stuck mine on the shelf

Wish I could stick it on a shelf, I need to put it in a frame, the motor that came with my 350x was trashed on the top end where the cam sits, and the rocker arms where wore really bad, so I got another running motor and found the same thing, on the top end. Priced out getting one of the sets of arms and the cam hardwelded and getting the needle bearing setup for the cam from Megacycle and that price was the same as a new motor(unless there is a different way to fix where the cam sits and I don't know about it??????), so I just bucked up a bought a new crate motor. So I was wondering if there was anything extra I could do to this topend to make it last. Thanks

you could have the oil passages opened up alittle.

Routine regular maintenance.. oil changes.. not beating on it... should last another 20 years or so.

It's a HONDA!!! :D

The ones that were taken out of the trike frames back in 87 when honda chopped up the frames. The motors were either stored or sent to schools. So yeah, you still can. But I don't think you still can from Honda unless some old Honda store still has a few in surplus.

Yep, there is just something wonderful knowing you have a spare new 350X motor :)

Just change the oil and put the filter in correctly. I beat the snot out of every machine I own.... But, I change the oil and filter keep the air filter clean.

Too many people don't warm it up before beating on it, that takes a toll real quick.
