Anyone know? I have a 84 Tri-Moto 200, 5 speed with stock gearing. I need to know for towing my boat/trailer. I'm thinking I should be able to pull a 1000lbs trailer/boat with no more than a 50 lbs tonge weight or so.. I dont know if I trust these wheeler hiches... At least not the Tri-Moto hitches...

I'm more worried about not having enough pull to pull the boat out of the water!

Thoughts?

you should be fine, test the trailer frst, let it sit on there, jump on the tongue to make sure nothing is going to break. it depends what your worried about, if you dont want your trailer hitch to snap, wait for an expert to tell ya, but ii think it should be fine.

I pull my 14 foot stumpknocker w/ an 18horse johnson in and out of the water no problem with my 85

Once upon a time, I hauled my El Camino about 1/4 mile in soft dirt, it had 2 flat tires and 2 low ones...I used a YTM200. It was straining but it pulled it....

That will be a walk in the park for the ytm, especially with that low 1st gear.

Ya know, I am starting to wonder if something is wrong with my wheeler... I say this because, I cant even get up a full sized curb with only myself on it from a dead stop... Has anyone ever tried this? I give it full throttle in 1st but it just will not pull up... Its just "RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR"....

Maybe its just me.
