hi, I just dropped in an 86 kx 250 engine into one of my spare tecate chassis, and it bolts right up w/no problem, my ? is will the 86 kx 250 stator assy. work in my regular tecate engine since the stator currently died. I know I will not beable to run the headlight. I just do not want to blow this one up yet. thank you mark

hows it going? hows the drag tecate?

i believe you can use that kx ignition in the tecate motor, but like you said no headlight. 200xbasket has done this before if you need to ask more specific questions.

i just picked up a bills pipe for my tecate. i still didnt build it, maybe this summer i can get to it.
