Tags and Reg mounting??

Hey guys,
I finally got my 82 R legal :Bounce
Got a question for ya???
Here in Minnesota your sticker plate is suspossed to be 4 x 7 1/2 and be able to be seen from the rear for a frickin sticker thats about 2 1/2 by 3 1/2??????:crazy:
How do you guys mount your Reg stickers,is there a plate you buy,make,just say screw it and put it on the plastic somewhere lol????
I work so hard to make my trike look cool ect... and have to attach a piece of tin that dosnt seem to fit in to many places on an R to be legal???
How do you guys do it????????

I just slap mine on the plastic.

Got the rear one on the plastic just above the mudflap and the front one is on the front of the rear fender turned 90 degrees.

I'd just put it on the rear fender along side the seat. If you get pulled over, play dumb; you can always move it.

This is what I ended up with,I wanted it to be sturdy and not vibrate and fall off.
I cut up a broken house CD player aluminum cover and mounted it in the grab bar bolt holes so nothing was altered on the trike.
Overkill but at least Im legal lol!!!

wish i could make my pitbike legal, but newyork is too much of a pain in the bum for that to ever happen, there probably enjying watching tv on thier fancy tv with the money we payed for a proposed trail

Why not just mount it on your Swingarm?
