Is Web Cams the only company that makes a performance cam for the 86/87 200x's? most places only have them for the 83-85 200x. could someone please let me know. I'm not looking for a race cam, just something mild to improve overall power. thanks!!!

"Sink the valves" Does this mean cut 60 thousandths off of the stock seat face?

I want a cam for an 86 that I can run a higher comp piston, but not a piston that will require anything more than super unleaded....

same here, that is why I am having a hard time finding the right cam because I don't want to have to buy any aftermarket spring kit. but yes, I will be running a 10.25:1 piston.

I wouldn't sweat the spring kit, thats a one time cost. My 250SX spring kit was like 80$. I just don't want to have to worry about running anything other than pump gas.

DC, I'm curiious as to how your engine mods on your SX have upped the performance, & don't you have a 2nd gen 250r front end on it? Reason I'm asking is I'm considiring some top end work on my '85 SX & was wondering what the cam & Hi comp piston really do for the SX. Thanks, Br!an..........................
