There is a honda 1982 bid red to sell near me. The guys say that the engine need some repair, ( has not started since 2 years), but the engine turn well, need a spark plug and a battery, good tires and good plactics. He is asking 400$ CAN.
What should i look on this trike?
How this trike compare to my yamahauler??
Are they good wheelies machines???
Any other advices??
Thank you

Well I don't know if there are lots of trikes in your area or not, but I wouldn't give more that $150 for it in that condition.

Yeah thats a little steep for something that hasn't been ran for 2 years. Its a good machine, but I think you should talk him down.

Sure the it is pricy, but people are crazy here. Last week, there was a yamahauler 1988 ( yes 1988) in the newspapers classifieds.I called the guys to ask the price and to say to him that they never made a 88 yamahauler, but the guys was just saying: « hum, maybe a 86». He was asking 2000$. He said that the trike was mint. Never i will pay 2000$ for a yamahauler. You have nothing here for less than 250$.

I bought it last night. I looked for spark before buy it and there was none. finally i pay 250$ for it. One hour later i was riding it in the driveway. It seems that the neutral switch is shot.
Plastic are good, tires are good. motor seems to run well, lights works, electric starter works, front brake works, shift well
It needs rear brake ( frozen), fork is froze, steering stem bearing are shot and the seat need a cover.
the trike is complete and it comes with the tools under the seat.
trikes owns :woot:

Awsome, good job on getting it down! You already got it running huh? A lot of those things you listed are super easy fixes, you should have that thing in tip top condition soon. Your a honda guy now, change your name. :w00t:

I will make him race my big red and we will see. I am 100 pounds heavier than him.
