I had to splice on a new plug for my headlight earlier today.
The one that was there was toast. I noticed the headlight flickering out by the garage. When I went down by the plug to wiggle it around, I got wacked pretty good!!.
While I was trying to figure out which wire was what (cuz I was dumb and just cut the plug off without noting), I couldn't get hardly anything on my multimeter, headlight or taillight.
This was on Volts DC. I thought about it, and figured it was AC, since I got wacked.
I switched over to AC and actually got something more than about 2 volts, but not what I thought it might read.
All the lights are working fine now, but I am still wondering if the lighting coil puts out AC, or DC current.
Anyone know?
