Did anyone else notice that a majority of the machines to make it up were Honda's. I am pretty sure I even saw Raffa climb that with a 350x. I think this just proves how good a honda is. HAHAHA jk Raffa but I had to say it

A banshee was the first machine up the backbone proper ;)

Yeah but my 300ex sure took a beating....I just keep kicking myself for being on it instead of my 250r. 250rs tires were shot though, wouldn't have ever made it up as slick as it was.

Yeah my coffe table made it up.That was fun!I wanted to take my Tri-z up,but since I was helping with the last card stop of the poker run,I rode my shee out To ride Tammy double.I had no time to go back and switch the tri-z tires.Maybe some other time!I think this was the first time my shee has been used as a pit bike/camp bike!LOL

ENGLAND!!!!! heh. No man I guess you missed it but I made it. Took a couple tries but i got to the top. I was the one yellin, "DON'T TOUCH ME I'M STILL ON THE SEAT!" lol!

Its not too steep of a hill but it sure is a fun one. Makes me long for some PA coal hills.

there are pics on the main site under the Trikefest 02 action pics. but its worse now than it was and pictures dont do the hill justice anyways. it is bad. i hit the top half and still had to have help over a rock. the bottom looked real bad but i didnt try it with my worn down tires. next year i will have my new razr 2s and will try it from the bottom.

the backbone is not a steep hill, but a technical one. The upper three quarters of the hill are cake, but the accent from the bottom can be a bizatch! The rocks and mud when wet increase the difficulty, otherwise, like Speedbump said, its an easy hill climb.

Before anyone gets all mad at me...I am just fooling 'round with you guys. (If you have climbed it, you can kinda act like a putz...I have...and I do! LOL ) :w00t:

I climed it for the first time this year...the more I sat and watched at the bottom the more nervous I got,,, I told myself its now or never:lol: defiantly real tricky when the rocks are wet and all covered in mud! I think it would be easier now when dry...

The first two Haspin TF's, the only thing that went up that hill was a TriZ and a Blaster. It wasnt until the third TF that the first TF Honda went up, and even that was a QUAD.

Only one trike has climbed this hill, at EVERY Haspin Trikfest, and brother it ain't no Honda. :naughty:

Personally, i wouldn't even attempt to climb that hill. It's kind of one of those 'no turning back' things. That hill would chew me up. Gotta know the limits. And thats far beyond mine. Pics just don't dp it justice.
