Raffa is running regular Klaw's and he finds them great. I think they look like an awsome tire to run but they might have a little too much sideways traction that would limit how well the trike slides. On the flip side of that I bet you won't find a tire you cannot break loose with the big 500.

If you can get them cheap and have some use for them then hell yeah, giv'r!

for anyone that cares there's a pair new on ebay for 100.00 BIn with shipping included. I went with fast trekkers instead i think that will give me more of what i'm looking for...

Your in Florida so you'll be fine, I never get away with cheap tires. I've popped 3 Bandits A/T's in 2 months, they are useless.... But, I'm running Holeshot HD's now and they are thick and NASTY!! but pricey too, 84$ each...

6 Ply sounds a bit much for you guys down south. Only because of the added weight, nice to have the thicker sidewall though.....

Let us know how they work for ya

I had klaw mxr rears, I didn't like them. It took too much to slide them out. I side with the guy who likes fast trekkers, they do suck on a slippery surface or a wet track, though. I go between 18" kenda knarly, stock suzuki lt-r450 rears, and turf tamers. For a all purpose, kenda knarly's should do the job. I'm assuming you want 20" rears?? Kenda sells them in 6 ply for xc tires, most of the mx tires are 4 ply and 18". Its hard to compare between a quad and trike how to tire slides out, its like apples and oranges. If you are gonna do xc, I don't suggest the stock lt-r tires, they get cuts pretty easy and how they are 18". Turf tamers will backup with mud easy and are 2 ply tires. My favorite tire for xc has been holeshot xcr's, I have a set from 02, I am have used them on my atc250r, atc200x, trx250r and were very predictable and easy to ride.
