I have a 81 250R with a 1mm oversized wiseco piston, FMF silencer, and a stock pipe. I picked up a mikuni 34mm carb from a 440 twin sled and put it on my trike but I would like to what size of jet I should be around with that carb. The stock jet is a 260 but if the sled was a 440 divided by 2 then that jet should be pretty small I think. I tryed a 290 jet today and it ran pretty good but it bogged at the top end. I pulled the plug and it looked like it was running good ( brown in color). Any help would be great.
