Boy, I love some people. I just got an ATC 110 from a friend for 30 bucks. He said it "didn't have any spark". I figured I could probably repair that not too badly.

Apparently, running your three-wheeler through mud with the left-side cam cover (with the spark advancer, whatever that thing is) loose is not the hot setup. Everything in there is worn and rusted from dust and water getting in. So I replaced everything in there with stuff from a TRX 125. Also replaced all the electronics with TRX 125 stuff, the coil, the CDI, everything. Still no spark. What should that little rotor under the cover do? I had an ATC 90 engine with a point-ignition setup under that cover, so what's this thing? And what should it be adjusted to?

Will post pics if needed.

flip the rotor thing under the cover 180 degrees and try again

it tells it when to spark (depending on where the cam is etc...it wont run if its 180 degrees the wrong way

Hm. Maybe they accidentally put it backwards when they pulled it apart. I'll do that, thanks. Should the pickup coil be touching the rotor, and if not, what's the clearance.

im not sure on the clearance but on my 200X its like a 1/4 inch away... my 110 is like .035

Ok, I'll adjust it so it's pretty close but not touching. Hmm. I wonder if it could be anything else.
