this is crazy anybody have a pivotbolt housing? mine is screwed this sucks i need one dont no even if you can find one? if anybody has one they want to sell or trade for parts pm me until i get that im on hold.shoot wanted to get the swinger on tonight.can my old bolt be pressed out of the old housing? probably not.any info would be a help.

Pivot bolt? As in cushion lever pivot bolt?

its the swingarm bolt housing that the bolt slides in the bolt is frozen in it need another one.i have a new bolt.just need that housing.

well i think i figured it out the guy i bought the 200x from put this swingarm on with the bolt in some kind of spacer then he attached the rest of it why dont no but im not putting a spacer back in there,it has good bearings and seals so im putting it back together with what i have.some pics of it coming together slowly.

There is supposed to be a sleeve (spacer) between the bearing around the bolt. If it is not there, you will put a lot of side force on the bearing and they will be distroyed very quickly.

hey i wonder if i can make my own since i dont have another? do you guys think it will work?i think it will gonna try anyways.make it out of a small pipe.

I'm not too sure about making one, maybe someone has a spare. But i wanted to comment on how much i like the painted forks. Does the paint hold up well when done like that or will trail riding beat it up in a short amount of time?

yes the paint stays on the forks the swingarm bolt came out of the sleeve so thats fixed , pics from today i was bored so i thought i would start putting things back together.starting to look good.

Very nice, i really like that restoration. Glad to hear you got the sleeve out, PB Blaster is the best stuff in the world for that sort of thing.
