It's been dead since I picked it up back around August. I fought a fuel pump the last couple of weeks, until someone sent me one yesterday. It runs pretty good, got some leaks to fix, but all in all, I am very happy that it didn't blow up! Now I will try to get some photos next week at the Oregon gathering.

So I rode it around in a horse manure dump, just to say I can ride it through shyte.............and that's all I had nearby to ride.:beer

A big thanks to everyone that has tolerated my stupid questions, and helping me get this thing going. It's not done, and not sure if it every will be, but I want to ride it and fix or upgrade things as time goes on.:w00t:

Yeah, I was told that might be a problem. Thus far, just the rear fender decals seem to like to mess with me. I'll enjoy it while I can! The do look cool, but time will tell how they work out.

It's got many a flaw, so it's not too nice to get dirty. I have seen many on here that have their own unique "coolness" to them, including yours. I just did things as they popped into my head, and if I could scrape up the money. Now it's time to get it dirty and enjoy all the work it took to get to this point.

Hmmm, not sure if that will happen or not. I have some samples made up for a brushed aluminum headlight housing, but I don't know if I can have it ready in time for the trip.

This is who I purchased the rear tire and wheel package from:

I went with a Honda bolt pattern, and purchased hubs for the Durablue axle that fit the Honda pattern. That way, I can swap out tires and paddles between my 3 different machines.

Great looking TRI-Z. The chrome decals turned out better than I thought they would. Keep me updated on them.

Been busy or too tired to load up and ride the last few days, but will give it another ride before heading out Monday for Oregon. I can't say I really feel anything that makes me think it's powervalve related. It's running pretty fat right now, but I wanted to do that for the first hour or so of time on the motor. I'll lean it out a bit, put the skid plates on, and take it for another test this weekend. I ended up getting a Mikuni carb and put a PowerJet kit on it, so it's a bit tricky trying to get a grip on how much to change things right now.

I also have to get the exhaust leak at the cylinder/pipe connection fixed, as well as a slow leak at one radiator hose.

I got those two gaskets on the end of the header and I loaded it up with the hi temp RVT.. I even bought all new springs... It held for about an hour...

I don't think it will bother anything really.. it just loads the front of the motor up with oil.

Well, put some stuff in the exhaust to stop the leak, and changed a radiator hose. Neither seem to be leaking "yet". I didn't ride but about 20 minutes, as the neighbors were starting to come out of their houses.

I also tore the jets out of the carb, and found that I didn't put the right main in to match up to the PowerJet. I went down 6 sizes, and it's still a couple of steps from the correct number I am supposed to be using. But, this things RIPS as it sits! It's still a bit rich, but I can't believe it was able to run as rich as it was before. Things are looking good!

Sweet Tri-Z !!! Curious, what size rims and tires are you running? Look Like ITP Rims with Holeshots, but what size?

Well, things have slowed down a bit, so thought I would share another photo. I headed out to Oregon, and broke in the Outlaw. Nothing broke or fell off, except some decals, so for me it was a success. The intake is being redone right now, so that I can get it running better. It ran rich most the week I spent in Oregon, but to break it in, I am okay with that. It was getting annoying having to get pull started because of this, but it's all good! Only leak was the darn exhaust, and that stuff can be hard to get out of your socks and off your legs! I'll work on the exhaust this weekend, and should have a new intake made up by the end of next week (fingers crossed).

Nice job bud, looks REAL nice.... :beer

I bought the same tires, the Holeshot HD's. They are not light but they are one tough tire. I was so dam tired of slicing sidewalls that I wanted the nastiest tires available. The hook up like crazy and I've got quite a few rides on mine with little wear. I'd only recommend them for a 250CC 2 stroke or 350cc and up thumper.
