I think that would be kind of hard to do. 660 engines aren't the smallest engines, so I really dont think anyone has ever/will ever do/done it.

Also, the triz's frame probably could not handle the torque of the 660 engine for everyday trail riding and probably end up cracking.

Try it then and post the outcome then. Seriously, I dont know why you would want to put a raptor engine in a tri-z. Just keep the tri-z engine or get a raptor. The Z's frame would never fit a 660 engine without alot of cutting, extending and raising. The 250 engine is SMALL, meant for a SMALL frame, not to be made to fit a LARGE bore 660 ENGINE.

if yer gonna do that, go with the 700. shot for the moon dude. dealing with two carbs sucks anyways.

When it comes down to it, you can work a Z motor to be faster then a Raptor.......

Just my thoughts.

I dont doubt that. and half way agree. My roommate has one and my R is neck and neck with the 700. He beats me at top end speed tho...but only cause i dropped a tooth up front. but they are torquey...

You could easily make a Z kill the raptor. Gearing change and a mid/top port job and big carb then you should be all set.

i will disagree here.200excellent was told the same thing last year, when he showed up on the drag strip, the raptor laid waste to many tri-z's,and 250r's.

i think it would be an awesome conversion my self.you will need a good stretch on the swinger to keep the front end down.it will take alot of work, but the end result would be a super fast trail bike, with electric start, and reverse!!!
