my new 250sx

well i bought a 1985 honda 250sx the other day and i was told all it needed was a stator and an ignition switch

well i took the stator out today because im going to take it to a shop and have it rewound unless i can find one for cheap elswere for cheap

is there a way i can use the bike without useing an ignition switch?

also forgot to add can i use the bike without a battery? or is it required to run?

yeah I'll look at the wiring hopefully tomorow. I have my one SX hooked up so it doesnt have a key

and once i have a working stator will i beable to run one 55watt light in place of the original? i have a hella 7" light that is 55w i already mounted it and it looks nice but if i cant run it ill take it off

also i found out what the stator coils were supposed to be .5-1 ohm and my read at 1.9 ohms so its definatley bad
