the lil kawi is coming together, Im kinda rushing it. I blasted and painted the frame, bought a new cylinder, piston, etc. Started working on the bodywork, but didnt finish. I will post some pics tomorrow, I have not heard it run yet. I need a petcock assembly, 200x hubs, and rims. I also want to see if ATC 70 plastic would work, its available in white (not as bad as red!) If its fittable, I may paint it with some of that flexible bumper paint thats out these days, and use the 70's wider seat in black.

hey holic why dont you try and see if the new plastics work from a kfx 50 or a kfx 80 will work they are green...........remember suzuki and kawi are 1 now.they make green plastics for the smalller stuff now. just a thought instead of painting. and see if the kx-60 seat works they sell nice graphics for them also.............................just a thought again :idea: :idea: :idea: :idea: :idea: :idea: :idea: :idea: :idea: :idea:

Hey Holic

If you are looking at 200x hubs, be informed that 300ex hubs have the same splines, but are extended .75 inch on each side. The white hub is a stock 200x hub, the red hub is a 300ex hub I bought off of ebay.

Yes, The added 1" is in the way the hub is casted. The part that mounts on the axle is the same.

They bolt onto the axle fine. the length of the splined section is the same. The .75 inch comes from the cupped shape of the 300ex hub, where the 200x hub is flat. Easy way to gain just a little width. There are usually several sets of 300ex hubs on ebay at any time.
