Honda 185S Motor

Well I'm kicking myself now, I had the complete motor pulled apart and didn"t replace the oil seals :( You guessed it, the gear shifter seal is leaking. Does anybody know if the seal can be changed with the motor in the trike and with the motor together? The trike is almost ready to rock and roll! I was going to take it on the maiden voyage tomorrow, but I guess I'll have to wait :(

yep u can replace it externaly....at least u can on the 200 ..it should be the same ho

i replaced my shifter seal on my 200x with the motor on the bike. you should be able to do it too.

Yeah you should be able to. I believe I did it on my friend's 185 a couple years ago.

Thanks for the information guys, I love working on trikes, but to redue something that could have been prevented in the first place is another thing!
