I am getting no fire on my 82 250r.
I have replaced the stator, Flywheel, CDI Box, Coil, Wireing Harness and on/off switch. Basicly the entire electrical system.
I'm about 2 minutes away from pulling my hair out by the roots.
I have this bike sold for more than its worth but I have to get it running.
Any help would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks,
~Jason~

You mention that you replaced the stator, but did you check the stator ( s ) to be sure it's good? Also check your kill switch to make sure that it isn't shorting out.

Yeah, The stator was tested when I bought it. I got the switch from ebay however.
Can I just wire it direct?
Is there anything else i need to look at?

Yeah, The key is fine. New infact.
But my manual doesn't say anything about torq. And even if that was the case I should still be getting something right?
I'm getting no spark at all. I can hold the plug and kick it and nothing.

disconnect the kill switch and check for spark. You can do this with out any problems because the kill switch only grounds out the ignition to kill it.

Take the engine switch off from around the handle bars and see if it gets spark, still keep it hooked up though but dont have it around the handle bars. Maybe its like my tecate. I dont get spark if the engine switch is touching the handle bars, I have to put electrical tape around the handle bars where the switch goes or it wont spark.
