Maybe a dumb question for some, but here goes: Geting the parts back from the machine shop finally and was wondering... on the tri-z, you use the clutch to take off from a stop, but, do you need to use it when shifting between all gears? Or can you shift it without using the clutch? I don't wanna screw anything up when I go to ride it :D

You can shift up and down through the gears w/o the clutch..its called powershifting. Its not the greatest for the tranny, but thats how alot of racers shift..no clutch. If you are just putting around...use the clutch.

I shift for the start, then rev match through the gears. It takes to long to grab that lever!!!

thanks guys :beer thought that'd be alot of work for those racers to keep squeezing the clutch that fast :) but i wanted to make sure that there wasn't something wrong with the clutch since i was able to shift without using it
