KLT 200 Should I buy?

So I have a wanted add up on craigslist, and a guy emailed me and said he had an old KLT 200 that runs, but is a little ruff. He is willing to let me take it for $100. I know nothing about Kawasaki's.... are they easy to work on? fun to ride? I just need some quick answers before I do this, any help is appreciated, thanks!
