Well i spent my Saturday fixing my tri-z. This bike hasn't been ridden since February when i killed the top end running a little too lean. Had to borrow some parts from my 85 Z to get this puppy running for the next ride. Swapped my cylinder, piston, carb and intake, because i killed the top end this winter. When i get a new bore on the other cylinder- will swap all back again.
Spent some time getting the mud/sludge from Pennsylvania off and gave it a quick wash.
So far so good - need a little test and tune, but once warmed up, the bike runs strong and is pretty loud with the dg pipe. It hurts a little to take the parts from the other bike because that bike is perfect, but its a low cost solution for now. This cylinder is done up a little with some mild port work and has a good punch to it.
Last night i had my whole neighborhood filled with 2 stroke smoke.:w00t: its riding season.
