87 200X parts available?

So I might be picking up a couple of 87 200Xs, guy wasnt sure what he had, thought he had a couple of shaft drive 200s, after talking to him he said its definetly chain drive and its a 200cc trike. white with blue seat. Said one had some issue with the tranny, the other might have a issue with the rear. the reason he said he wasnt sure what it was is because of the differential, after talking to him we figured its the rear axle. Anyway are parts for these pretty easy to find? or ebay? They even come with clear titles! Jim

Yep, they are rare. Parts are hard to find and good parts are expensive...

there rare, the parts are hard to find, but some times you will see them on ebay, buy them and give them a good home

Congrats on your find:D I had an '86 that was a great daily rider, but a friend(?) came off a side trail w/ his Raptor, & I hit him head on in 5th gear tapped, bent the right fork(Straightened it on a press), bent the axle(got one from a member, cheap), and broke off the foot brake, along w/ blowing both rear tires. I got everything here, on the classifieds. if you look hard & long enough, you'll find everything you need to get it/them rideable, good luck & let's see 'em:pics: !

If they look good... send one my way =P I dont think it will bolt in, but there is a 86/87 parts machine on eBay.

i dont think so, it will only work on the 83-85 200x's but it might im not 100% sure :pics: :pics: :pics:

Nope, those auto 200CC motors only fit the 83-85 year 200X's. Just buy them and offer the parts to US in the classifieds. Alot of us need 86/87 parts.

I have 2 - 86's and they are so much better than the 85 and under trikes that it isn't funny!! 87 had a red rear swinger and a key switch, that switch alone - if intact is worth a mint....

I cannot thank 200Xman and Mike from Long Island, they brought me over a very complete 86X for a nice price. Lots of very very hard parts to find on there.

I'm certain alot of us have parts to trade...

Anyone who needed 86/87 200X parts missed 2 mint mint mint ones on EBAY in the last 2 weeks from RPM ATV in Utah. I got some of the most beautiful parts I could imagine from them for a great price - I am super STOKED!!!!!!! But.... I wish I bought the motor they had up there, anyone know what it fetched??

KEEP THEM COMPLETE AND RESTORE THEM please...theyre very rare!! and need to be restored...parts can still be found...maier makes plastic..some oem parts are still available....

I agree, restore them.. Great machines. The first ones I ever rode when I was 13.. 7 years later I have still looked for one. My dad got rid of it when he heard that kids got killed on them =( Was my favorite machine aside from the FL350r
