Hey there guys:
I have a few questions concerning the HRC short track kit, well, the triples anyway.

1. Can I use my “short track” triple with my stock gas tank? I do not have the kit, just the triple.
2. Will my fork tubes hit the radiators?
3. Does it use different bearings or the stock ones?
4. Other than steering lock advantage, does it changes the caster / rake on the trike?

I’ve had this sitting for a long time and it’s time to put it to use, but I only have the triples. Will it make an 85 better (than stock). 86’s have different angle on the steering neck and my 86 frame is not looking good.
It’s rusted really badly and it has the swing arm bolt syndrome (it won’t come off), so I’m going to have to cut it off (I want to use the 86 rear end).

Stock on top, HRC on the bottom

I don’t know what to do with this thing  so I turn to you guys, yet again.
Please, help.

Thanks,

TORKER.

torker, from all information I've gathered there is no change in rake on the HRC clamp. You can use it and gain a little bit of additional steering lock, but the real gains are made from removing the plastic radiator guards and also moving them back, which isn't really possible with the stock tank. You can get a little extra lock with the stock tank and radiator positioning but not much. I actually modified my stock clamp to turn more then an HRC clamp, pretty easy to do. Heres a thread where I posted some pics: http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/showthread.php?t=63052&highlight=short+track

Thnks Billy, I really apreciate your help and knowledge.

I guess I'll sell it since I have no use for it?
